The European Cup – Euro 2008 – has been underway for over a week now, involving some intense competition on the pitch with some classic powerhouses and a few unexpected Davids of sorts. Germany have always been a powerhouse, especially at the international level. They have some single monster players who continually threaten the back of the net, but play as a team, applying pressure across the defense, and of course they have some of the most-devoted, big-stacked fans around:
