video test (user feedback requested)

Hello boobwatchers and breast fetish enthusiasts.

In my attempt to bring you the absolute best boob news, reviews, reporting and content around, I request some feedback with the following. The biggest snag I’ve ran into thus far has been with video. There are numerous plugins to support the platform I’m publishing with, but invariably they become no longer maintained, or the code becomes outdated and unsupported, and then my blog breaks and I don’t like that. I prefer to code as much of my own work as possible and hack in what I require to keep the blog’s momentum going.

Video to date has played here fine in a browser but hasn’t displayed in some RSS softwares/readers. I can’t test everything, so I require feedback from you!

I’m trying a new way to load flash videos here, and have to actually press publish to test the RSS format. It’s my hope that the video will load for 98% of you subscribed to RSS and for 100% of all brower-based users. The 3% of traffic I get from mobile devices will have to fend for themselves however!

Please, watch, enjoy, and leave feedback. Details like what RSS reader you use would be extremely helpful.

Get the Flash Player to see the wordTube Media Player.

No luck on the RSS feed in Google Reader in Safari. Video shows up fine on the page though.

google reader alike. showing only text, no video, even though videos show on some other feeds, e.g. myboobsite.

  3. ChromeGuy says:

Using Google Reader on Google Chrome, nothing. Video works fine on the website.

    Google reader, no video.

I think you have to use the Yahoo Media RSS spec – that seems to have worked for me in the past. Email me if you need more details.

  6. Tone says:

ok… it doesn’t show up on Google reader in FireFox at all, but the video on the site is just fine.

thanks for all the feedback! I have one more method to try but I’m weary of using plugins.

I already have two outdated plugins running here that handle videos posted over 10 months ago. I can’t use them anymore because they don’t handle features like skinning and embed code (for viral video).

Erik I will get in touch, your links look pretty interesting. thanks.
