Yesterday the 34F mammed Wifey highlighted this image circa 2004 which rekindled an interest of mine in non-permanent jewelry and in particular, nipple rings (this is a breast blog after all! Respect to teeth jewelry enthusiasts, but seriously I’d much rather stare at a nipple ring anyday over your grill!). Don’t get me wrong I’m all about real piercings on women: clit piercings, earrings (of course!), nose septum, tongue rings, eyebrows (especially like them when they’re subtle and somewhat blend in), belly button (I’m picky, but I generally learn to love them), there aren’t many piercings that I’m not at least intrigued by (of course even I have my limits). So while I’m a fan of most-things-flesh, I’m especially a fan of non-permanent nipple rings on my lady friends. Why? A couple outstanding reasons, thanks for asking!

Mostly it comes down to variety, not that you can’t have variety in barbells and other proper nipple piercings, but your partner is simply less likely to remove them or change them I’ve found; with nipple rings there’s lots more flexibility and an immediacy of style designed to suit an occasion. Of course you can’t grab on to them or twiddle them like real piercings, it’s more of an aesthetic appeal, but the argument still stands and as far as aesthetics are concerned they clearly enhance the nipple and areola. It’s also a fun way for your partner to ‘try out’ a nipple piercing without actually getting the procedure – if fear is an issue, even though all the women I’ve asked have claimed the piercing at least slightly enhanced their sensitivity and pleasure overall. But it really comes down to experience for me:

I used to have sex with this girl who had a north-south barbell piercing about 3″ above where her cleavage joined, and I remember this one time I pulled out and shot my load without aim and a heaping glob of it landed right on the piercing, she rightfully freaked out and ran a swab through her skin like a pipe cleaner to remove my juicy fluids – ever since I’ve always been cautious about squirting myself in the direction of a piercing (even though the skin is sealed I’m still concerned), but with non-permanent jewelry the threat of open or exposed skin is minimized, leaving me to “roam if I want to, without anything but the love I feel” (so now you know I’m a B-52s fan also! Quick aside: don’t think I’ve ever had sex while listening to the B-52s, will try to work on that in the near future!).
