Rachel Bloom is a LA-based comedian and writer who recently went viral with her nerd-inspired music video for the “greatest sci-fi writer in history”, Ray Bradbury. Not my personal favorite sci-fi writer, so my chances with Rachel might be blown, but it is a good pairing of two of my favorite things: science fiction and boobies – Rachel has a healthy pair if you haven’t noticed! There are of course many ways to read Rachel’s aspiring comedic style, summed up in these two comments left on her facebook profile:

With profile pictures like this, people will accuse Ms. Bloom of exploiting her sexual assets for promotional purposes, thereby diluting the artistic merit of her musical achievements achieved in the song “Fuck me, Ray Bradbury”, whose achi…evements include, but are not limited to, showing off two full, ripe, well handled, slightly foxed, classically laid out, as shown in the picture above, books by Ray Bradbury. That would be a terrible shame. I hope the rest of the internet, like I, is steadfastly hoping that the seemingly wanton but no doubt completely inadvertant exposure of soft, laced, black and musky wine coloured bust support, along with a not inconsiderable quantity of smooth, firm, primally enervating cleavage shown in this picture can be carefully overlooked so that we can continue to enjoy the reintroduction of these classic covers into the mainstream literary culture.

or perhaps the more appropriate-to-this-blog comment:

\insert compliments about Rachel’s breasts here\

Anyways here’s the original video that made her go viral, it’s not only boob-tastic but it’s also an extremely good production with quality lyrics:

and no joke someone went to great lengths to re-edit a “creepy porno version” of Rachel’s video, which focuses on the jiggling, the nerd-tongue-licking and other provocative hand gestures:
